Settings: Language, Dark Mode and Units

Make AimScan yours.

Language

AimScan is available in English and Dutch. By default it follows your device language: Dutch on a Dutch device, English everywhere else. Choose a language manually in Settings, Language.

Appearance

Choose Automatic to follow the light or dark setting of your device, or force Light or Dark. Dark mode is easy on the eyes in a dim indoor range.

Units

Show group sizes, windage and elevation in millimetres or inches. On the Ammo tab you switch velocities between m/s and fps.

Clubs and ranges

Manage your list of locations. See Firearms and clubs.

Tools

  • Light box: turns the screen into a bright white panel to backlight a target. See Scanning targets.
  • Firearms: shortcut to your firearm list.

Backup and danger zone

See Backup and privacy.

Supported devices

  • iPhone and iPad with iOS or iPadOS 15 or later.
  • Android phones and tablets with Android 7.0 or later.

On tablets, AimScan uses the extra space: two columns on most screens, and a side-by-side folder list in landscape.
